Solar Energetic Particle
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Event Time: 2024-09-09T08:50Z ( GOES-P: SEISS >10 MeV )
Activity ID: 2024-09-09T08:50:00-SEP-001 (version 2)
Note: The >10 MeV proton flux at GOES-P first crossed the threshold at 2024-09-09T08:50Z, before decreasing below and hovering near the threshold by 2024-09-09T09:00Z. Starting at 2024-09-09T16:40Z, the proton flux was consistently above the threshold of 10 pfu, reaching a maximum of 34.2 pfu at 2024-09-09T22:50Z. An increase in the ACE/EPAM and SOHO/EPHIN real-time electron flux was seen starting around 2024-09-09T02:00Z due to a long-duration M1.0 flare peaking at 2024-09-09T03:31Z from Active Region 3806 (S05W89) and associated CME first seen in SOHO LASCO C2 at 2024-09-09T01:25Z.
